Early access to a defibrillator is often vital for casualties suffering from heart problems. More organisations are now providing AED (Automated External Defibrillator) units and training for their first aid trained and non-first aid personnel.
Our 6 hour AED Operator Training can equip your personnel with the confidence, skill and knowledge to use AEDs, which may save the life of the casualty.
On completion of an AED (External Automated Defibrillator) Course, individuals should be able to:
- Manage an incident;
- Recognise and determine life threatening conditions;
- Treat an unconscious casualty;
- Administer CPR in accordance with current Resuscitation Council Guidelines;
- Operate an AED in conjunction with CPR.
The qualification last for 3 years and is delivered through an OFQUAL regulated centre.
These courses are now the new Level 2 Award In Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (QCF).
We pride ourselves on the quality of our training. Course sizes are restricted to 12 students - in order to ensure that you get the most out of your training.
We are also able to advise you on and source a suitable AED for your workplace. We then use these models to provide the training for your personnel.
